New legislation under the Tenant Act 2019 places a requirement on agents for Client Money Protection (CMP). CMP is a compulsory requirement for members of Propertymark, of which we are one, so if a Propertymark Protected agent has misappropriated your rent, deposit or other client money you can apply for reimbursement through the CMP scheme.
